Κατερίνα Λενάκη


Katerina studied Sociology at the University of Crete and she is currently doing her master’s degree on Public Administration at the University of Nicosia.

She has worked in European social science programs related to sustainable development and many years now she is organizing reference and user instruction at the University of Crete Library in Heraklio, designing and giving library seminars, marketing the use of electronic resources and producing guides and publicity material.  While in the Library, she participated in proposals and implementation of projects such as Zephyr  and Livesearch electronic services and the University of Crete publications’ documentation and dissemination. She is a strong supporter of open access and open data philosophy and would be excited to contribute to the deployment of open data in Universities, Libraries, Social Sciences and Public Administration in Greece.
